They run out of permission to use it.

In this episode of The Heir&#39;s Path, business coach David McGhee sits down with Danny Verdejo to talk about a line he comes back to often: nobody dies with their music playing. David is quick to credit it to Wayne Dyer rather than himself, but he has spent twenty years turning it into a practice rather than a poster.

David&#39;s own path makes the point. He was let go from a finance company at 25 and spent a summer on the beach in San Diego until his parents suggested he go do something real. That led to radio, then real estate, then coaching. He is candid that he could not see the thread while he was living it, and could only trace it looking back.

The conversation gets specific about what coaching actually is. David separates the teacher, who transfers information, and the trainer, who builds skill, from the mentor, who hands you their experience, and the coach, who draws out potential that was already there. He tells the story of a Harvard-educated client earning $875,000 who wanted someone who had walked his exact road. David&#39;s answer was that he was not that guy, but he was the guy who would get the best out of him. The client cleared a million inside a year.

They also dig into why high performers stall at a ceiling, why purpose-driven people treat money as a byproduct rather than a scoreboard, and why timeless principles beat whatever is trending.

Topics covered:
- Why coaching is drawing out potential, not transferring a system
- Teacher, trainer, mentor, coach, and when each one fits
- Reinventing across radio, real estate and coaching
- Why purpose-driven people hit ceilings anyway
- Building a legacy plan and actually executing it

It is one night a week, protected, with the same people.

Adult friendship rarely ends in conflict. It dies by calendar. In this episode of The Heir&#39;s Path, David Greenwood and Danny Verdejo explore the loneliness epidemic, why so many capable and outwardly successful adults end up isolated, and the deceptively simple habit that rebuilds real community: one recurring night a week with the same group of people.

David makes the case that connection is not a feeling you wait for, it is infrastructure you build. Most people try to solve loneliness by meeting more people, when the actual gap is repetition and consistency with the people already in their lives. This conversation covers what it takes to start a group, how to keep it alive through busy seasons, and why the people who invest in community end up more resilient in every other part of life.

Topics covered:
- Why the loneliness epidemic hits successful adults hardest
- The one night a week habit that rebuilds real friendship
- Why more acquaintances will never fix isolation
- How to start and sustain a community group that actually lasts
- What consistent connection does for resilience, health, and perspective

Today he is the CEO of a technology company that rescues businesses from their own tech.
Most people chasing wealth start with the wrong question. In this episode of The Heir&#39;s Path, TechRescue CEO Andrew Bolton and Danny Verdejo unpack why &#34;I want to be rich&#34; is the wrong thing to aim at, how artificial intelligence works more like a chainsaw than a magic wand, and what it takes to build a company that genuinely serves the people it touches.
Andrew&#39;s path runs from near total technical illiteracy to leading a business built on customer service. Along the way he learned that tools do not create outcomes, judgment does. He makes the case that AI is powerful and completely indifferent, that it will cut through whatever you point it at, and that the operators who win will be the ones who know what they are actually trying to build in the first place.
Topics covered:
- Why &#34;I want to be rich&#34; is the wrong question to start with
- AI as a chainsaw, powerful, fast, and indifferent to your intent
- Going from asking how to forward an email to running a tech company
- Building a business where customer service is the actual product
- What most entrepreneurs get wrong about tools versus judgment

- AI as a chainsaw, powerful, fast, and indifferent to your intent
- Going from asking how to forward an email to running a tech company
- Building a business where customer service is the actual product

In this episode of The Heir&#39;s Path, Savio Clemente sits down with Danny Verdejo to trace the road from diagnosis to a life rebuilt around intentional wellness. Savio is a two-time survivor, and he is direct about the part most wellness conversations skip: facing mortality does not hand you clarity, it hands you a choice about what to do with the time that is left.
The conversation moves past routines and into the assumptions underneath them. Savio makes the case that most people optimize the visible layer, the workouts and the diet, while leaving the emotional layer untouched, and that the emotional layer is the one that determines whether any of it survives a hard season. He describes the exact moment it switched for him, three words long, in a hospital bed.
They talk about what genuinely investing in your health looks like when it stops being aspirational and starts being structural. Daily practices that hold up under pressure. Why healing is not linear. And the connection Savio draws between personal wellness and the capacity to build anything lasting, financially or otherwise.
It is a conversation about health as the asset that makes every other asset usable.
Topics covered:
- How surviving cancer twice reshaped his entire perspective on health
- The assumption about wellness that almost nobody questions
- Self-regulation, psychological distancing, and staying steady under pressure
- Why healing is not linear, and what that means day to day
- What legacy actually is, and why a bio is not it

Now She Teaches Women to Build Power | Cindy Morris</title><description>Just a few years before Cindy Morris was born, it was illegal for her mother to have her own checking account. That is how recent the rules changed. And it still shapes how women are taught to think about money, power, and asking for more.

In this episode of The Heir&#39;s Path, Cindy Morris and Danny Verdejo dig into self-efficacy, the belief that you can make change, and why community is the multiplier that turns that belief into results. Cindy has spent her career in mission-driven work, raising money for causes and teaching women to raise their own expectations, and she is blunt about the patterns she keeps seeing: women who were never taught to ask, networks mistaken for mixers, and workplaces that still price women&#39;s work below its value.

They talk about what community-first actually means in practice, why individual giving is quietly dropping and what that signals, and what it takes to feel safe enough to be genuinely vulnerable. Cindy also talks about the identity underneath all of it: before she is anything else, she is a mom.

Topics covered:
- Self-efficacy: the belief that you can make change, and how it is built
- Why women were never taught to ask for money
- Networking is not a mixer: relationships that actually hold
- What the drop in individual giving says about community
- Safety, vulnerability, and learning to fall fast
